Across the country, thousands of independent venues, promoters, festivals, and associated businesses are looking to bring in staff, from front of house to production, to administration, booking, and management. This board is a hub for those jobs and job seekers, driven by the mission to empower more inclusive and sustainable independent live entertainment communities.
With the job board and all our work, the National Independent Venue Foundation is committed to equity in our support and advocacy for independent venues, and seek to create and encourage opportunities for venues, promoters, and festivals owned, operated, and staffed by people of color, women, non-binary, LGBTQ+, veterans, and people with disabilities.
This means we do require salary ranges for the job board – salary ranges can help reduce turnover, reduce inequitable pay gaps, and help organizations build trust. We want the independent live entertainment community to be a place where people want to work and build careers, and this is one step along the way.
